Holly Ann Malaker

Holly Ann Malaker our beautiful, regal Standard Goldendoodle was lovingly released into the arms of St. Francis on Sunday, September 18th, 2022.

Our loyal and very best girl was surrounded by her Mommy, Daddy and Granny under her favorite old Oak tree in the front yard of the only home she's ever known. That tree was hit by lighting years ago and split partially in two. Holly's favorite thing to do was run to that tree, stick her head in the slit and look for Chippies and Squirrels. She was relentless up until her last day even though she was attached to us by a harness and leash so she'd keep her balance. We hovered close to let her continue doing what she loved.

Holly was given her name by us because she was born on December 5th, 2008. Her middle name Ann was chosen because of her Grandma's Annie and Annette. She was her Mommy's Christmas gift from her Daddy and the very best gift he's ever given to her. Holly's Uncle Eric was a Veterinarian and had a client with a new litter of Doodle pups. Holly chose us. We'd each picked out a different puppy and then Holly, the independent and confident pup of the litter showed us her personality. We both immediately released the puppies in our hands to get to know her. It was an instant connection for us and although we were told not to choose her because she was the naughtiest in the litter we ignored that advice and brought her home. How wrong they were! Smart, eager to please, loving, loyal, obedient and everyone who met her instantly fell in love with and was in awe of her. Holly brought endless amounts of love, joy, laughter and companionship to us. She traveled with us to many states including Central Park in NYC for a carriage ride! It was her Mommy's dream to do that with her. She went on numerous hikes with her family and loved climbing up the rocky sides of mountains with her Daddy, which made Mommy sweat watching from below! Many parks around home became her playground as well as, the dog park where we met the most amazing friends. But, Holly's most beloved place to roam was her 12 acres at home. She ran every square foot of it over the years and loved barking at the moon at night with Daddy for last potty call. Chuck-it ball, find me or find it and hunting anything that moved were her favorite games to play. She used to make us laugh with her full speed run then Tigger like bounce as her finale. She was Mommy's constant companion as she was a stay at home Doodle dog mom. Most everywhere mom went Holly went. She loved visiting Daddy at the office and he loved taking her to Lowes to pick out things for home projects. Oh and when Daddy came through the door at night it was pretty much "Mommy who?" Granny Gran was a huge part of Holly's life and for the lady who never really liked Dogs Holly was sure to change Gran's mind quickly and it didn't take long before they were an inseparable pair. They took many long walks together and even people in Gran's neighborhood knew and would stop by to say hello to Holly. Granny Gran always was received with huge tail wags and if Mommy mentioned Granny was coming for a visit she'd instantly run to the window looking for her. Granny would ask Holly if she loved her and Holly would wag her tail and bark. We are so very grateful to Granny Annie for loving and caring for Holly while we traveled over the years and also caring for her right up to Holly's last breath. Holly was a fighter and battled many health issues during her lifetime. We are deeply grateful to the most amazing team of veterinarians who helped keep her healthy. Dr. Eric Malaker, Dr's Chris and Dan Lendman, Dr. Lesli Stovall, Dr. Karen Turner and Assistant Hannah Weinke. Also the numerous staff at each of their clinics. Special thanks to Holly's only groomer her entire life, Christina Palumbo. Holly always looked so beautiful and was constantly admired for it. She loved you so much.

Thank you to our family, friends and to the Goldendoodle Love Facebook group who have become very near and dear to my heart. Holly was so very loved by all of you. Also, our dear friend Msgr. Arqui and his family in Colombia who  prayed many times for Holly dog as well. We have been so blessed by all of these amazing compassionate people.

Holly, you were Mommy and Daddy's first dog but you were never just a dog to us. You loved us your whole life and we will miss you the rest of ours. Run free, chase Chippies and Squirrels with the graceful athletic elegance you had in your youth and don't forget to bounce like Tigger to make Dr. Uncle Eric laugh. He and your Cousin Jack the Golden Retriever will be waiting for you and will watch over you until we meet again.

Thank you Holly for giving us your devotion and love for nearly 14 years. You will be so very missed and never forgotten.

Love, your Mommy and Daddy

Buggy, age 5 years old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 5th 2026. Cremation services accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation Services. Buggy was an amazing girl, every time someone would walk through the door she would instantly start wagging her tail and run up to you. I will miss cuddling her every night. Anytime I was sad or I would cry, she would lick my face to make me feel better. The one time she escaped, we found her outside barking at a stranger who was just trying to help bring her home. She was a sleepy little girl who absolutely loved her naps every chance she got.

Boots, age 8 years old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 15th 2026. Cremation services accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation Services. Bootsie always needed to lay on my back whenever I was laying on my stomach. She always looked grumpy but behind her grumpy face she was the most loving girl. She is deeply missed at home.

Pickle, age 3 years old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 28th 2026. Cremation services accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation Services. Miss Mama would alwys find the most random spots to sleep in and you always had to search for her. If she chose your lap, she'd refuse to leave no matter what you tried. She also was able to sneak out and came back and gifted me 4 beautiful kittens. She absolutely loved people so much but she did not care much else for anything unless it was a toy with a feather. She will truly be missed dearly. Until we meet again at The Rainbow Bridge.

Tiberius Cesear Augustus (Auggie Doggy) 11 1/2 Auggie Doggy was born on January 1, 2015 in Ohio. At 8 weeks old he took a long car ride with his sister Mia to Northern Indiana where they met their forever adoptive moms Christine and Deb. Auggie spent the next 11 1/2 years with the Schaver's being terribly spoiled. He always had kids to play with and lots of love. He loved everyone he ever met, and everyone loved him. He loved sitting on mom's lap helping her post Daily Dose of Auggie pics. He often nose bopped people in the hip to get a head or ear rub, he loved his ears rubbed. He always had to be where the action was if there were people around, he was in the middle of them. The only thing in life he wasn't fond of was his feline fur brother Chaos Charlie he would walk as far away from him as he could. Auggie passed peacefully wrapped in the arms of his mom on June 7, 2026, at Companion Animal Clinic. Auggie is survived by his human mom Christine, human brothers Samuel and Maxwell (Kyah), his fur brothers Yoda and Boris, fur sisters Olive and Bellatrix and so many "aunts" and "uncles". He is predeceased his human dad Brad, feline fur brother Chaos Charlie and canine fur sister Mia. The Schaver's would like to thank all of friends who helped with puppy sitting, physical therapy and everything else over the years. Special thanks to Dr. Kathleen Smith at Companion Animal Clinic who was his vet his entire life. A true gentle giant who will be greatly missed. Cremation services accorded.
