Oakland Yates

Oakland Aloysius Yates crossed the Rainbow Bridge on April 22, 2023. She had just celebrated her 18th birthday on April 12th. She rescued her dad, Matthew, when she was just a tiny kitten the size of his hand. She knew he was the perfect person to care for her and raise her with the most love anyone could give. At the age of 10, she chose the perfect mama, Jaime, who would also love and cherish her every day.

 Oakland brightened her parents’ lives with her beautiful voice, her sweet and comforting snuggles, and her spunky personality. She made the best blanket forts and enjoyed waking her dad up early on weekends. You could most often find her laying at her favorite spot on the couch watching her cartoons, always accompanied by her stuffed ‘lucky ducky’ toy. Although she loved her mama, she was truly daddy’s girl. She was the best kitty in the whole world, and we will miss her terribly. She was our sweet, beautiful princess.

My Mack Daddy is already so deeply missed in our household. When we first got him and he spent his first Christmas in a actual home, he was in absolute heaven. He loved all of the presents he got to open. He would always find a way to sneak out of the yard and we were constantly replacing boards and parts of the fence repaired because he was really good at sneaking out. He was such a huge snuggler that I think that is what I will miss the most. His ears were a big tell on what Mack was up to, if they were perked up, then that meant he was on high alert. He loved to protect his human family any way he found that he could. He will truly be missed. Until we meet again at The Rainbow Bridge.

Seer was our first foster kitty, he loved his mama unconditionally, he also always loved talking to her and wagging his happy tail any time he saw her. He was her shadow to its fullest. I will miss his beautiful blue eyes, his fun spunky personality and most of all his meows. He is deeply missed and we will meet again one day at The Rainbow Bridge.
