Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation provides compassionate and respectful service. Pets aren’t just animals, they’re family. We understand that grieving the loss of a companion is difficult and complicated. We strive to create an environment for you and your family to gather and celebrate the life of your pet. Cremations are performed on-site and we have many options available for memorializing your companion. We also are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist you in your time of need.
On-Site Cremations
- We offer Semi-private and Private Cremation
- All cremated remains will receive a cremation certificate, grief literature and special keepsake
- Fee for cremation is based on weight of the animal
- There is an additional charge for removal from residence
- There is an additional charge for return of remains to residence
- Transfers to the crematory after normal business hours, or beyond a 20 mile radius of the crematory can be made at an additional charge
Cremation Fees
Semi-Private Cremation:
At Whispering Willow we use the “Buddy System” for semi-private cremations. The Buddy System is where more than one pet will be in the cremation chamber, but they are separated to reduce comingling of remains. This is our most popular cremation option and our default.
- Under 1lb - $95
- 1lb-74lbs - $160
Semi-Private Cremation is not available for all pets, including but not limited to, large breeds or companion farm animals.
Private Cremation:
- 1lb-74lbs - $265
- 75lbs-149lbs - $340
- 150lbs+ - $420
(Pet’s weight will be verified by staff and cremation price adjusted if necessary. Additional charges for farm companions and pets over 250lbs may apply)
Home removals between 9am-4pm are $150 within a 20-mile radius. Beyond 20 miles there is a $2.25/mile fee. Removals 4pm-7pm are $200 and overnight and holiday removals are $350.
Removal from your veterinarian is available during business hours for $75.
There is no charge to bring your pet to our facility during regular hours. Afterhours office visit is $75 and overnight is $200.
$350 same day cremation rush fee. Takes about (4) hours.
Witness Complete Cremation Process: $400.
To witness the placement in the cremation chamber: $150.
If refrigeration/storage is required, family’s are required to pre-pay for seven days of storage and keep a credit card on file in the event the storage duration is longer than seven days. Storage fee is $15 per day.
Biohazard Fee varies and is applied at staff discretion. In cases of infestation, decomposition and trauma. At staff discretion, we may refuse service.
